چکیده
The study aimed to isolate and diagnose the fungus that causes gray mold disease in strawberries, showed spread of Botrytis cinerea all areas sample collection (Baghdad - Anbar Babylon Salah al-Din). Reducing infection rate (28%, 32.33%) strawberry plant compared control treatment contaminated with pathogenic (82.67). results a significant effect above induction factors reducing diameter growth dry weight biomass fungus, which reached (2.80 cm, 4.67 cm) (0.253, 0.357 mg) respectively, (9 0.423 mg). For inducing BABA Melatonin, increase peroxidase enzyme activity, as it Melatonin (48.248 minutes gm fresh weight-1) (37.330 weight-1). Accumulated total phenols achieved (3.203 mg (2.635 Keywords: Stimulate; cinerea; BABA; Melatonin; Strawberry

Streptomyces nobilis C51 Suppresses Gray Mold Caused by Botrytis cinerea in Tomato
This study sought to develop a biological control agent against gray mold disease caused by Botrytis cinerea in tomato using a strain of Streptomyces, which showed significant antagonistic activity against B. cinerea. Such strain (C51) was screened by dual culture method from a total of 78 actinomycetes and was identified as Streptomyces nobilis by morphological, biochemical and molecular analy...

Botrytis cinerea is an important pathogen that causes diseases in ornamental crops. In presentresearch several greenhouses of roses located in central region of Iran were surveyed toidentify the Botrytis cinerea. A total of 80 isolates were collected from rose greenhouses incentral region of Iran. Morphological identification was based on characters such asconidiophore and conidial length. Acco...
متن کاملPotential Applications and Antifungal Activities of Engineered Nanomaterials against Gray Mold Disease Agent Botrytis cinerea on Rose Petals
Nanoparticles (NPs) have great potential for use in the fields of biomedicine, building materials, and environmental protection because of their antibacterial properties. However, there are few reports regarding the antifungal activities of NPs on plants. In this study, we evaluated the antifungal roles of NPs against Botrytis cinerea, which is a notorious worldwide fungal pathogen. Three commo...

The fungal pathogen Botrytis cinerea causes gray mold disease on various hosts, which results in serious economic losses. Over the past several decades, many kinds of fungicides have been used to successfully control the disease. Meanwhile, the uses of fungicides lead to environmental pollution as well as a potential threat to the human health by the chemical residues in tomato fruit. Also, the...
